The programme is 9 months long and is designed to help you make sustainable lifestyle changes to support weight management alongside medication prescribed by your GP, such as Mounjaro. The focus is on changes that are realistic for your individual circumstances and that you can maintain in the long term. Your health coach will guide and support you every step of the way.

The programme starts with a live video call with your chosen health coach. During this session, they will get to know you, understand your goals, and work with you to set personalised targets that align with your long-term aims. After this, your coach will send you tailored video and written messages through the Liva app to keep you motivated, provide guidance, and share practical tools and resources. This support is delivered weekly for the first 12 weeks and then fortnightly for the remaining 6 months of the programme.

Throughout the programme, you will receive information to help you develop healthy habits and manage your weight effectively. Topics include:

  • Nutrition
  • Physical activity
  • Stress management
  • Strategies for maintaining weight loss in the long-term

This content is delivered as part of a structured curriculum that is sent via the Liva app. It is designed to be suitable for everyone on the programme, so you can focus on what is most relevant to you. Your health coach will help you apply the topics that matter most to your personal priorities and goals during your check-ins.

Your health coach is your partner in progress, but the programme works best when you actively engage. Tracking your goals, habits, and progress helps your coach see what is working, make adjustments where needed, and tailor the programme to suit you. Regular engagement also helps you stay motivated, recognise achievements, and maintain momentum throughout the 9 months.

Please note that you will require a smartphone or tablet device to access the programme.
